Hello everyone! Sunday April 15th we attended the 23rd Pikes Peak Food, Beer, and Wine Expo. This event was so much fun for us and really has been a turning point in our food blogging journey so far. It is held every year and brings in local business’s and also hosts a food and drink competition between local restaurants. The price for tickets is $45 and that includes all food and drink samples inside. Once inside you are free to roam and try all there is to offer. We really enjoyed meeting people from the local restaurants, networking and taking pictures of all the amazing food. My favorite sample was the Ruben Sandwich from Cowboy Star and my husbands favorite was the Pulled Pork from the A Grazing Life booth, which does farm to table dinners in the summer on a ranch here in town. We also got to try lots of yummy cocktails and beer from local breweries. This expo is super fun and great because you get to try so much and find out about local places in Colorado. We can’t wait to attend more events like this through out the year.
