Colorado Crepe CO

Crepes have to be one of our favorite things to eat. Ever since I was a young girl I learned how to make crepes and made them for my family on snowy days or for my friends at sleep overs. When my husband and I started dating it was the breakfast I knew how to make for him and we always enjoyed getting crepes after a long day of snowboarding in Breckenridge. They hold a special place in our heart so we were very excited to find out about Colorado Crepe Company here in C. Springs.

They are located inside The Pikes Peak market downtown which a farmers market concept inside a building on Pikes Peak and Weber. There are several different vendors inside the Pikes Peak Market and it is set up almost cafeteria style. You can try different food and interact with other people at the market in a foodie social setting. It is really a cool place! When we walked in we couldn’t wait to try some amazing crepes. The two gals that own the company Annie and Leah are so sweet and have the best energy.  Annie was born and raised in France and has a profound passion for food. The crepe recipe is all hers and she has since taught Leah her secrets. Leah has been in food and hospitality for 8 years and after meeting Annie their passions aligned and that’s how the business was born! They truly have created something great and are both very passionate about Pikes Peak Market and the new concept it is bringing to the Springs.

When ordering our crepes Leach whipped me up a special they were working on, Coconut Banana Creme Pie. Honestly, this was the best crepe I have ever had. She did their signature creme inside with bananas, and on top did their signature whipped cream, coconut flakes and graham crackers. I’m drooling just typing this up again! Husband ordered their Green Chili crepe. This has sausage, an egg, cheese and green chili inside, topped with pico de gallo, guac, and sour cream. This was also unbelievably tasty! They make some of the best crepes we have had, truly authentic and using fresh local ingredients. They are all about supporting local and bringing food back to the way it used to be. Please visit them if you have not been into Pikes Peak Market yet. They are oh so fabulous and we don’t have enough good words to say about this company or these girls!
